jMP3 Tag Editor is a free and open source tag editor app and MP3 tagger developed by Giuseppe Miscione for Windows, it's minimalistic and well-designed.

The download has been tested by an editor here on a PC with some screenshots included to illustrate the user interface.

Extracts data from ID3v3 and ID3v2 tags and edt the fields

jMP3 Tag Editor is a simple and easy to use application that you can use to edit audio tags and batch rename audio files.

The program extracts ID3v1 and ID3v2 mp3 tags and allows you to edit each field. It also enables you to resample the mp3 files using LAME MP3, as well as change the sample frequency, the bitrate and the output quality.

Compatibility and License

jMP3 Tag Editor has been released under the open source GPL license on Windows from MP3 tagging software. The license provides the options to freely download, install, run and share this program without any restrictions. The source code for jMP3 Tag Editor should be freely available and modifications are certainly permitted as well as the option to inspect the software.
